The Curator's mandate

Five duties under section 4 of the Curatelle Act. The system exists to discharge them.

  • Appoint, guide and supervise executors
  • Administer vacant estates and absentee property
  • Appoint and monitor fiduciaries
  • Partition and sell co-owned property, with the co-owners' agreement
  • Re-seal probates granted abroad
